Preface
This post is a record of my peaceful life for the last two weeks: 2025-05-18-2025-05-31.
This weekend is the Dragon Boat Festival, a Chinese traditional festival.
We always eat zongzi during this festival period. In a nutshell, there are two flavors of zongzi, one is savory and another is sweet. Unfortunately, I don’t really like either kind, unless I am very hungry.
Dragon boat racing is a traditional sport during the Dragon Boat Festival in China. But I never saw it as a Chinese from the north.
We have a long weekend for the holiday. This is the main reason I love this festival.
Okay, no nonsense anymore, let me make a record of my trivial life then.

I used to believe I deserved a good car that costs between 200k and 300k yuan..
But the truth is that I don't deserve it. Even though I can afford the car, I can't afford the fees afterwards/the associated ongoing costs(it costs a lot every year: insurance, parking fee, maintenance, gas money- even though an electric car could save the money, but the battery life is very short).
And the main reason I want to buy a good car is just for my vanity. It sucks.
Now, what I am considering is not what car I should buy but rather whether I should buy.

A one-day trip to Shaoxing City
My company organized a one-day trip to Shaoxing City. I visited the mausoleum of Yu the Great, who was a legendary ruler in ancient China, best known for controlling the great floods and founding the Xia Dynasty.
I also visited the former residence of Lu Xun. I felt bored, because I had been there before, and the weather was so hot that I had been sweating nonstop.
Tooth extraction
I pulled out a tooth with Maxine together. It sucked.
My tooth is too strong to pull out easily, I could feel the doctor was exhausted, because he pulled the tooth of Maxine firstly; that's why he said he has to pull Maxine's tooth firstly, in case he has no more energy.
Now the wound is still inflamed and a little bit painful.
But the good news is that I have no wisdom teeth to have extracted anymore!!!
